Succumbing to Bitterness – 3 Words: Not worth it.


Ofcourse, it’s easier said than done because the heart hurts. However, if we don’t let it go, this is what bitterness does to people:

a) Bitterness Ages people. They look at least 5 years older.

b) Bitterness attracts Negative Karma. In life we  attract what we give out.

c) It  makes tumours grow in the body. This can be terminal.

d) Bitterness robs the body of energy. It just saps!

What if there is  bitterness towards a family member and one day they die?  People start wishing they didn’t take it too far and wish they made peace with them  – Too late!!…….then Pain and bitterness Round Two starts.


If this is you, let it go for your own peace and happiness.

(Therapy is an option too)

Change your Perspective


Change the Perspective. 

As difficult as it may be, we have to look for things to be grateful for in any Negative situation. It keeps away harmful negative thoughts and can help attract a solution.  See things in a different way.

No Job? – Be grateful you have skills to get one.

No Car? – Be grateful for public transport that helps for now. Etc.  (Some people are painfully using Crutches.)

Gautama Bhuddha says: “Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn’t learn a lot today, at least we learnt a little. If we didn’t learn a little, at least we didn’t get sick. If we got sick, at least we didn’t die.”

You are alive and breathing. There is still hope. (◕‿◕)

Make room for Joy

Amidst the busy hectic week or day, find time to do something that makes you feel very happy inside. It could be spending time in/with a hobby or spending time with a special person.

It’s a time when all your worries evaporate and you just lose yourself completely in the beauty of the moment. Do more of what makes you happy.

When the Heart Bleeds

I should know….


A bleeding heart hurts more than physical pain…. In total darkness. Not even a spark showing at the end of the tunnel. A place where life just doesn’t seem to be worth living – what is there to live for anyway?  God seems to be on holiday, it’s not even worth facing the day….

 Where do you go from here?

You have to find the inner strength. Some things that can take your mind off the pain is reading. Also, listen to music or just leave music playing in the background. Go out, write, draw, read, spend time doing your hobbies. Any pets? Watch TV even though sometimes, you can’t really “see or hear” it. etc. Try not to isolate yourself from friends ♥ family.

Reflect on times when you got through difficult challenges. Out of no where, help came in ways you least expected. Keep playing those times back in your mind –  As a solution came back then, so also a solution will come now or soon.

A Bleeding heart will not bleed forever.  In a matter of Time, it will heal and  be Happy again.

This too shall pass – Keep Strong.

When Life Sucks!


There are times when life is so full of sh*t. You feel you just don’t have the strength to carry on. Completely drained, you just can’t take it any more. Total Frustration!!

But Wait….

** Just one more step.

** Just one more day.

** Just one more try.

** Just one more flicker of hope.

 ** Give life one more chance.

 Hang on in there. Your circumstance will change and the difficult times will be a thing of the past.  One day you’ll look back and it will be a story you’d tell others and they might even learn something from your experience or be inspired by how you got through it.  Good Luck. (◕‿◕)

Will you Let the World blow out the Light within?


I remember it so well. I was out with a very funny friend of mine and she dropped me off at home. I was still smiling and laughing to myself as I opened the door and remember thinking, that if my neighbours saw me, they would wonder why I was laughing all by myself.

As I closed the door, I saw a letter from my Mortgage company and immediately my smile went. I thought to myself “What now?!” and was beginning to feel flustered, as I had issues with them earlier in the year. I opened it and found out it was just a statement. Deep Sigh of relief but my smile never returned until later on.

That happens to many of us. Sometimes people or situations get to us and

  • it takes away our joy.
  • our lovely smile.
  • our peace of mind.
  • sometimes even our good health, but let’s not allow it.
