In other words….Whatever Makes You Happy

It’s important that we feel good in life. This feeling goes out as a signal into the universe and starts to attract more of itself to us. So, the more we feel good, the more good we attract.

It is  also handy to have a list of  Thought Shifters for any time we are feeling down. E.g listening to music, watching a movie, going for a walk, meditation, retail therapy, looking through family photos, recalling beautiful memories, writing etc. It immediately shifts us from a negative frequency to a positive one

Thoughts are powerful. Stay on a Positive Frequency.

Change your Perspective


Change the Perspective. 

As difficult as it may be, we have to look for things to be grateful for in any Negative situation. It keeps away harmful negative thoughts and can help attract a solution.  See things in a different way.

No Job? – Be grateful you have skills to get one.

No Car? – Be grateful for public transport that helps for now. Etc.  (Some people are painfully using Crutches.)

Gautama Bhuddha says: “Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn’t learn a lot today, at least we learnt a little. If we didn’t learn a little, at least we didn’t get sick. If we got sick, at least we didn’t die.”

You are alive and breathing. There is still hope. (◕‿◕)

Amidst the busy hectic week or day, find time to do something that makes you feel very happy inside. It could be spending time in/with a hobby or spending time with a special person.

It’s a time when all your worries evaporate and you just lose yourself completely in the beauty of the moment. Do more of what makes you happy.

Focus on your Blessings

If Santa were to ask us what we wanted for Christmas. Some of us would list physical things… Perfumes, Vouchers, CDs, Technology gadgets, new car etc. Some of us would list situations we would like to see in our lives  (maybe travelling to see a loved one) – which shows we all still want things. When it doesn’t happen, sometimes we feel down.

But while waiting, expecting – Let’s focus on  what we do have…


** A Home  –  So many are still on the streets.

** Food   – Some can’t eat 2 meals a day and some  have to be fed through tubes.

** Family –  The most wonderful thing in the world. Many have lost loved ones this year. They never saw it coming.

** Nice Relationships – Some couples have world war 3 in their house every week.

** Jobs – Many are searching and frustrated and still can’t find one.

** Skills – If you have no Job, at least you’ve got good skills in something.

** Good Health – I don’t need to write much on this. You see what’s happening round the world. Many facing different health battles.

You know what you are blessed with…..   a Luxury home? a Car? Children who are not wayward and doing so well in school? a good business? Lovely friends? Wonderful other half and more.

As we focus on the good we have, more of that goodness will come.

Will you Let the World blow out the Light within?


I remember it so well. I was out with a very funny friend of mine and she dropped me off at home. I was still smiling and laughing to myself as I opened the door and remember thinking, that if my neighbours saw me, they would wonder why I was laughing all by myself.

As I closed the door, I saw a letter from my Mortgage company and immediately my smile went. I thought to myself “What now?!” and was beginning to feel flustered, as I had issues with them earlier in the year. I opened it and found out it was just a statement. Deep Sigh of relief but my smile never returned until later on.

That happens to many of us. Sometimes people or situations get to us and

  • it takes away our joy.
  • our lovely smile.
  • our peace of mind.
  • sometimes even our good health, but let’s not allow it.
