Not a Doormat

not doormats

Selfless, Caring, Loving, Sensitive, Generous are beautiful character traits which many take for granted. Some people give all these qualities and more to those they care about, but get hurt over and over again.

Do they forgive?

YES!! Over and over again, they do.  Not because they are stupid. Not because they are Doormats but because they are kinder than kind with beautiful hearts.

“Let’s be grateful for those who give us happiness; They are the charming gardeners who make our soul bloom”. ~ M Proust

Blessings to you.

New Year – 12 Things to consider letting go of

simply gorg

The beauty of life is that we can all make changes at any time. Here are some habits worth letting go of, in the coming year or at any time. I write “worth letting go of” because change is a choice.  Consider the list below. I reckon they are worth letting go of: Do you?

1. Anger – It only breeds bad energy.

2. Bitterness – Actually ages people and brings on ill-health.

3. Clutter – De-cluttering promotes good energy. What’s that word again? Feng Shui.

4. Distractions – Focus. Set your goal / set a plan to achieve it and make progress.

5. Frivolous Spending – Hide that credit card, but not so well, that you can’t find it when you need it urgently!

6. Grudges – It’s one of the heaviest things people carry in life.

7. Junk Food – Not easy to cut out, but easy to cut down on.

8. Limiting Language – “Oh Yes, you can”  and if you think you can, you’re actually half way there.

9. Negative thoughts – They can blur your vision and hinder you from attracting the best. Remember the Law of Attraction.

10. …and of course Negative Friends – will always bring you down or drain you.

11. Procrastination – Read my post: 40 Procrastinating Excuse to get rid of.

12. Worry – Like a Rocking chair, gives you so much to do but never gets you anywhere. ~ Let Go and Let God.

Drinking – Who Me?

weekend

~ Short Poem ~

Me, Drink? Oh, I hardly do!

.

Busy life, no time to wine and dine

Countless Invitations, I have to decline.

But I manage to squeeze in one glass a day

It helps melt all the stress away.

.

Me, Drink? ~ Oh…just the “one glass”. Cheers ٩(•̮̮̃•̃)۶

The Festive Season

The Festive Season

The festive season is a very happy season for most people, but sad for others due to the loss of loved ones. If you have lost a loved one, I hope you will note that because they are in Heaven, there’s a little bit of Heaven in your home.

¸.·*♡ You can buy jewelry in memory of that special person, or beautiful flowers and put it by their photo.

¸.·*♡ You could even buy a new photo frame and put a cute bear or a special new ornament beside it.

I guess we all have our ways of dealing with this.

Wishing everyone a beautiful Festive Season and Prosperous New Year.

In other words….Whatever Makes You Happy

It’s important that we feel good in life. This feeling goes out as a signal into the universe and starts to attract more of itself to us. So, the more we feel good, the more good we attract.

It is  also handy to have a list of  Thought Shifters for any time we are feeling down. E.g listening to music, watching a movie, going for a walk, meditation, retail therapy, looking through family photos, recalling beautiful memories, writing etc. It immediately shifts us from a negative frequency to a positive one

Thoughts are powerful. Stay on a Positive Frequency.

Only you have walked in your shoes

Only You Have walked in your Shoes

Some people have had failed relationships. The divorce didn’t even leave them with a cat, let alone the house. Some have gone through bankruptcy, others illness or other tragic circumstances.  After some years, they manage to get life back on track. They are glowing – looking amazing and successful. People start to throw words at them, not knowing the excruciating journey it took them to get where they are.

If that is you, I hope you ignore negative Criticism and stay in a circle of positive Karma, to keep your peace and abundance.

Only you know how it’s been – walking in your shoes.

It Can Happen To Anyone

not enough

Life is unpredictable. The Homeless person you see today could be a Business Tycoon or very successful person in another area of life, in a few years time – but Hold that thought...

When people write quotes like the photo above, I think to myself, that it’s not enough to be grateful that we are not homeless BUT, we should make an effort to help such people. It could happen to anyone. A lot of people on the streets are graduates, people who had good jobs, but sadly either their house got repossessed or they got kicked out of their matrimonial home etc. Even if they are not graduates, they still deserve a comfortable life.

So, please consider any of the following:

a) Volunteering even just 1 or 2 hours a week to the homeless. Most Charities re-imburse transport costs.

b) Giving a donation, maybe £5 every other month, if things are tight.

c) Consider any other practical ways to help.

Think of all the times people have helped you through life’s trials.

It’s time for us, to be that Miracle for someone else.  ❤
